Car Wash Equipment : Klasse All In One 33 oz.

This is by far the best car polish I have ever used. It really works as described and leaves a powerful shine on your car. I also used it on a Friends car who had a tremendous level of oxidation. It was on a white Toyota Corrolla and I could not believe the results. I also had to clay detail the car to remove the sever oxidation and then used the Klasse car polish. It worked great.

Car Polishes and Waxes : Turtle Wax T-240KT Headlight Lens Restorer Kit

Simply put, it does what's it's supposed to. This bad boy turned my almost beyond redemption - yellow crust covered headlights into working headlights again. It didn't turned them into 100% "like new" headlights but it did restore about 90% of their long gone "Like new" look. Which was more than enough to pass with flying colors the rigorous Maryland State inspection, which was basically the reason I purchased this thing in the first place.

Just a word of warning: Grab yourself a low stool or chair to sit down in front of your headlights at a comfortable level and 2 or 3 servings of the cold drink of your choice and Be prepared to spend the most boring hour of your life rubbing this thing until your forearms go numb. Yes, this thing works but it's 50% elbow grease powered. But for 10 bucks and with the included pads, you can't go wrong. Oh, and you'll only spend about 1/4 of the contents on the job (2 headlights). So I'd say this kit lasts enough to restore the headlights in 4 vehicles. 1 more thing: Make sure to have a little bit of car wax at hand before starting the job. You'll need it at the end to seal the finish and it's not included in the kit. (I noticed this just when I was ready to begin and I had to drop everything and make a run to store for some wax) All in all, just for the bang for your buck and the effectiveness of the product, 5 stars.

Tools and Equipment : Meguiar's X2020 Supreme Shine Microfiber - Pack of 3

I bought these not for my car, but to clean stainless steel in my kitchen, wash mirrors, that sort of thing.

I can honestly say I've bought just about every microfiber cloth out there, and none work as well as these. I can clean the stainless in my kitchen in minutes, with no streaks, no lint, just shine, and without using chemicals (just some white vinegar and rubbing alcohol in warm water.)

I probably added a few years to my life with all the time I've saved with these cloths. I highly recommend them!

Tire and Wheel Care : Forever Black Bumper & Trim Dye Kit

This is an amazing product. I have a 2004 Volvo XC70 whose black bumper and other trim had faded to grey pretty badly. (I am sure many readers have seen Volvo's with trim that has faded really badly.) I used to treat the trim with Mother's Back to Black and it made the trim look great....until it rained, which caused the product to run and cause streaks in the trim...making it look even worse than before I even treated it.

The important factors in using Forever Black are preparation and patience. Preparation: The product comes packaged with a cleanser and an applicator bottle. I took my time and cleansed my trim three times, very well, with the cleanser. Then carefully I dried it. Patience: Once I started to apply the dye, the trim absorbed it like a sponge. I was concerned at first because of the rate at which the product was being absorbed; I was afraid I did not have enough product to do the job. Well, I persevered and after about 6 full applications on all of the black trim, it looked better than brand new. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bottle of product was still about half full!

Even now, several months (and several rainfalls) later, the trim still looks better than it did when the car was new. I am in love with this product, and whenever I am out driving the car, I love the puzzled looks I get from others (especially other XC70 owners) because my car blows theirs away with its good looks. I am waiting for someone to approach me one day and ask, "What in the world did you do?"

Great job, Forever Black! You have an excellent product here. Don't stop making it!!

The Cleaning Kits : Meguiar's NXT Wash & Wax Kit

This kit is great!

It has everything you'll need to wash, wax, and maintain the look of your car! (micro fiber towel, foam applicator, and waxes)

The wax makes any car (with good paint) shine as new! Very easy to apply, maintain, and doesn't require a lot of application.

Solvents : Oil Eater Cleaner Degreaser 32oz

I used this product to clean my light colored Berber carpeting and it was fantastic. There were mud and dirt footstep stains tracked in from movers. Based on the advice from the company's 800 #, I mixed the Oil Eater with some water (1:3 ratio) and sprayed it directly over the carpet. I let it sit a couple of minutes and used my carpet cleaner with just plain water to rinse it. My carpet looks as good as new.

I recently spilled some cooking oil on our new composite deck. After cleaning it twice with dish soap, the stain was untouched. As luck would have it, I ended up out of town for several weeks and was afraid the stain had permanently been set in. After doing some research on the internet, I found a suggestion to use this product.

To my amazement, after spraying Oil Eater Cleaner Degreaser on the stain and lightly brushing, the stain was gone. I'm not sure how well it works on other types of stains, but this alone saved me from replacing several expensive composite boards.

RV Care : Camco 42273 RV Assorted Sink Shower Strainer - Pack of 3

Camco RV Assorted Sink Shower Strainer is designed to prevent the clog with the stainless steel strainers. This strainer easily fits into the drain to keep the food out of plumbing. It comes as 3 pack for both sink and shower drains.

While the mesh on these sink strainers is tight, the lip is not as wide as the picture suggests. Had the metal lip been wider on the outside, I would have rated this higher. As it is rather difficult to grab to clear with the small lip.

Interior Care : Lexol 1015 Leather Conditioner Spray 16.9 oz. (500mL)

I have been putting this on the leather in my 2001 Montero since I purchased the vehicle. I apply it about 3 or 4 times per year. My leather looks practically brand new and most people that get in it comment on how new the leather looks. I can only assume it is because I use Lexol conditioner on it. I see other cars that are 7 years old and the leather is trashed...not mine. Leather still looks and smells new! If you own a car with leather, this is a must have product!

My car is 10 years old and I've used Lexol on it since it was new. The leather hasn't cracked. It smells good and works great.

Glass Care : Stoner 95161 Invisible Glass Reach and Clean Tool

Good product. I got it mainly for the inside windshield on my SUV because it's so hard to get into the corners. This did well for that, but after I used it, thought I was done and put it away I noticed that it did streak. It took using it a couple times to get it right, but now my windshield looks great. I think the problem is that it's hard to get firm pressure on the entire "triangle" cleaning pad.

Is it necessary....no. Is it useful...very. I have a very sloped windshield that makes it difficult to get to the bottom of and clean. This tool works great for that. I use a number of Stoner products and you can't go wrong with them.

This windshield cleaner does the job. It's great for getting into the corners and along all the hard to reach spots on windshields. Especially on those sloped interior windshields most modern cars have. On the inside, it's the way to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Finishing : Meguiar's M8032 Speed Glaze - 32 oz.

I have used the separate retail cleaner and polisher with with incredible results and Mike from Meguiar's told me about using this one step dual action professional product. It worked great on a maroon panel van that had never been wax in it's 11 years of existance. The ower was amazed when we finished. It looked alsmost as good as it did the day it was purchased without wax.

I use this product with a Porter Cable dual action polisher to polish a 9 year old black Mustang. This polish is easy to work with. It removes swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation. I finish off polishing with Meguier's M21 sealant for a nice shine. I get a lot of compliments on how new my car looks.

Exterior Care : Bon-Aire Original Ultimate Hose Nozzle (Aluminum)

Got this for washing the car and it really lives up to all the good reviews on the site. The metal parts are sturdy and thoroughly armored by black rubber all around. The problem with most hardware store nozzles is that they always deliver a lower flow of water than just the uncapped hose itself. The Bon-Aire on it's lowest pressure setting mimics the high-flow/low-pressure delivery of an open hose and is great for getting 'sheeting' of the water to occur when rinsing the car after a wash which means less spotting. The spray is continuously adjustable up to a high-pressure stream (very strong) by rotating the collar and you don't have to hold the nozzle in place to maintain the setting -- unlike conventional spring-loaded nozzles. The only thing that takes getting used to is that you have to rotate the collar all the way left or right to shut off the flow, so you won't have the "instant off" action of a normal nozzle if you're working with a setting somewhere in the middle of the range. A perfectly fine trade-off for me given the other great features.
